How long will my driver's license be suspended for under the Connecticut's Administrative Per Se program?
If your intoxilyzer, urine, or blood test result was greater than .08 but less than .16: 90 days for a first offense, 9 months for a second offense, and two years for a third offense.
If your intoxilyzer, urine, or blood test result was greater than .16: 120 days for a first offense, 10 months for a second offense, and two and one-half years for a third offense.
If you refused to take the intoxilyzer, urine, or blood test: six months for a first offense, one year for a second offense, and three years for a third offense.
If you were older than 17 but under the age of 21, the period of suspension will be twice as long as what it would be for a person over 21 years of age. So, if your test results are higher than .02: 180 days for a first offense, eight months for a second offense, and 4 years for a third offense. And if you refuse to take the test, one year for a first offense, two years for a second offense, and six years for a third offense.
If you were 16-17, the results will be the same for someone under 21, except that for a first offense: one year for an elevated BAC and 18 months for a refusal.
