What Is Connecticut's DMV Administrative Per Se Program?

Under federal law, every state must have an Administrative Per Se program in which a person's license must be suspended for having a blood alcohol content (BAC) greater than the legal limit or for refusing to take the breath test when requested by the police. How long your driver's license is suspended under the Per Se program depends on the amount of alcohol in your system when arrested, whether you refused the breath test, and/or your previous record for suspensions.
